Frēda Salvador updated their most iconic boot this season— have you seen the BAILEY Boot yet!? It’s a water-resistant, lug sole boot, exactly like the BROOKE Boot, but with statement studs. I find that most all-weather boots are aesthetically lacking. I really like the BROOKE and BAILEY boots because they are so practical but they do not skimp one bit on these boots looking fashion-forward.

The BAILEY Boot comes in black calf leather and sesame (brown) suede (yes— even the suede is water resistant). It is true to size, comfortable, lightweight (foam rubber sole) and very versatile. If you’re never shopped at Frēda Salvador, you can use my code: MICHELLE10 for 10% off your first order. I’ve had the privilege or partnering with them for a few years now, and I’m non-stop impressed with how high-quality and beautiful everything they put out is. These boots are a pr product.
If you’re new to lug sole boots and want some styling ideas, here are some of the ways I’m wearing the Frēda Salvador BAILEY boot this fall.
1.) Blazer + Tee + Pants + BAILEY Lug Sole Boots

Blazer (mine is old from Darling – similar) // Tee // Pants // Bag // Boots (code: MICHELLE10 for 10% off your first order)
The first outfit is the most chic of the bunch and is a great workwear option. My style is casual and I work from home so I wore a tee here, but you could easily elevate the outfit further by swapping the tee to a blouse or button up shirt. The Bailey Boot is great option for city commuters who walk to work.
2.) Cropped Jacket + Tee + Jeans + Black Lug Sole Boots

Coat (similar for less) // Tee // Jeans // Bag (old from Clare V. – similar) // Boots (code: MICHELLE10 for 10% off your first order)
The next outfit is casual chic. It’s comfortable but looks put together. The silhouettes are modern— i.e. cropped trench and barrel leg jeans. The details the accessories bring into the outfit make it look more complete and interesting— the studs on the boot, heart-shaped necklace, sunglasses, and pop of color, perforated leather bag.
3.) Sweater + Statement Belt + Jeans + BAILEY Boots

Sweater (similar for less) // Jeans (vintage Levi’s 505 men’s jeans from the 90s) // Belt // Bag // Boots (code: MICHELLE10 for 10% off your first order)
This third look feels casual cool. I love the texture of the vintage denim and cashmere sweater. The black accessories all tie together and bring an edgy feel to the simple outfit base.
4.) Oversized Button Up Shirt + Utility Pants + Black Lug Sole Boots

Shirt // Pants (I sized down one) // Sweater // Bag // Boots (code: MICHELLE10 for 10% off your first order)
The next outfit feels everyday and effortless. Nothing is too fitted or too dressy. The layered sweater and accessories elevate the base and the final look feels comfortable and perfect for any fall weather.
5.) Matching Athleisure Set + Quilted Jacket + BAILEY Lug Sole Boots

Coat // Sweatshirt // Pants // Bag (old from Sézane) // Boots (code: MICHELLE10 for 10% off your first order)
The last look is my weekend casual outfit idea. I love elevating comfy athleisure sets with a great jacket and elevated accessories. These boots truly can be dressed up or dressed down, working in a wide range of outfits.
