If you’re in the market for soft and stretchy, chic jeans, the Lilah High Rise Bootcut Jean could be the perfect one for you. You can wear them casually or dress them up and they’re ultra comfy. Bootcut jeans are a silhouette that has been in rotation for decades. A classic style that has proven staying power. They fit in perfectly with the other current trending styles this season.
How do Citizens of Humanity Lilah Jeans Fit?
The Lilah Bootcut Jean fits true to size. It’s bringing 70s style into today with a bootcut leg and zip fly. It’s a 10 3/4″ high-rise style. They are full-length with a 32.5″ inseam. They previously also made them in a 30″ inseam, and that is what I have and am wearing in this post. You can see the length below on me, I am 5’7″.

What are the Citizens of Humanity Lilah Jeans Made Of?
The Lilah Jean is made of 81% Regenerative Cotton 11% Lyocell 6% Polyester 2% Elastane. The fabric is stretchy and thinner than 100% cotton denim. They hold their shape really well and don’t relax with wear. I have them in a deep dark indigo wash called LOTUS. They’re currently also available in a handful of other washes on the Citizen’s website: black, dark indigo, medium indigo, vintage medium indigo, light indigo, and white.
Lilah Bootcut Jean Outfits:
1.) Trench Coat + White Tee + Bootcut Jeans + Loafers

LEFT: Jacket (similar, similar, similar) // Tee // Sunglasses // Jeans // Bag (old – similar bag) // Shoes (code: MICHELLE10 for 10% off)
RIGHT: Trench Coat // Tee // Sunglasses // Jeans // Bag // Shoes (Leighton – old from Frēda Salvador)
For this first look, the base is the exact same. The other elements are categorically the same but are stylistically different. Both looks have a neutral trench, one short and light tan and the other a longer length in a golden brown. Both outfits have loafers, one a hickory brown and the other a tan. Both have handbags, one a bright red sling and the other a patent mahogany tote. Ultimately they’re the same but different. : )
2.) Oversized Button Down + Lilah Bootcut Jeans + Flats

Shirt // Jeans // Bag // Shoes // Sunglasses
Look two is all very spring/summer elements juxtaposed against the deep dark denim. The white tunic is linen, the bag is a basket bag, and the shoes are jellies. The sunglasses complete the summery-vibe of the look.
3.) Cardigan Sweater + Bootcut Jeans + Heels
Sweater (code: MICHELLET for 15% off) // Jeans // Bag (old from Frēda Salvador) // Shoes (old from Target – similar)
The last look was one that I wore over the holidays. If the silver heels and bag are swapped out, I think the pairing of the red cardigan and dark denim works easily in spring and fall. You could choose tan, black, or brown shoes/accessories and they would all work.
