Today I’m happy to be chatting with you about my go-to fall outfit combos for 2025! I love writing these posts seasonally. It gets easier and less surprising each year to identify my go-to combos for the season. These are the outfits I’m wearing on repeat. Each go-to fall outfit combo works visually, embodies my personal style, and is something I can depend on to work. 

Most of the combos I’m sharing are tried and true, basic outfit combinations that many people wear, like a sweater and jeans. But— basic doesn’t have to mean boring. You can be creative within each of these combos. I’m sharing a few examples of each combination so you can see a bit of the variety possible.

1.) Sweater & Jeans

Let’s start off with the most simple, quintessential combo that will be on my list every single year— a sweater and jeans. From chunky to lightweight knits, cardigans or crewneck— all styles and colors can be paired with your favorite jeans. And the jeans— you can swap out colors and styles here too. The possibilities are endless.

2.) Cropped Jacket + Tee + Barrel Leg Pants

This second combo is the one I’ve been reaching for the most so far this season. I wear barrel leg pants on repeat and pairing them with a tee is what I’m doing most often. Cropped jackets pair perfectly with the pants, contrasting the volume and shape of the barrel leg. If you are not into the barrel shape, wide leg jeans works just as well.

3.) Oversized Button-Up Shirt & Jeans

This next combo is the epitome of effortlessly casual chic in the fall. As you can see above, a variety of handbag styles work and the same is true for shoes. I also love adding a sweater over my shoulders or a jacket on chillier days.

4.) Blazer + Tee + Elevated Accessories

The next combo is another casual chic option. I love the style juxtaposition of a casual tee with an elevated blazer. And like the last combo, you can see different shoe and bag styles all work well in this combo.

I’ve consistently been enthusiastic about denim since……forever, ha! Double denim is a timeless combo that I will be wearing each fall. The key to completing this look is adding in other colors and elements of interest through shoes and accessories.

I love a jumpsuit. It’s a great piece to take into fall and pair with boots. I’m drawn to its one-and-done ease.

The last outfit combo is for the weekends, especially cold mornings. I love to throw a jacket on over my matching set and boots or sneakers are my shoe choice. It’s a perfect combo for kids sports games and running errands on cold days.
