If you’re looking for jeans with a subtle barrel leg, the Miro Relaxed Jean from Citizens of Humanity might be the perfect jean for you. The shape and length make these jeans really versatile and easy to style. I’ve already worn them countless times and I find myself reaching for them often.
How do Citizens of Humanity Miro Jeans Fit?
The Miro Relaxed Jean fits true to size for the intended relaxed fit. I sized down one size for a more fitted look in my blue pair. I also have them in a size up in cheetah print and they fit baggy. The Miro has a barrel leg shape that tapers. It’s a 11 1/4″ high-rise style with a zip fly. It is an ankle-length with a 27″ inseam. You can see the length below on me, I am 5’7″.

What are the Citizens of Humanity Miro Jeans Made Of?
The Miro Jean is made of 100% Regenerative Cotton. The fabric is rigid but with a soft hand. They hold their shape really well and relax slightly with wear. I have them in a medium blue wash called PACIFICA. They’re currently also available in twelve other washes on the Citizen’s website— a variety of blues, black, light neutrals, and cheetah print. They also released the Miro shape in sweatpants.
Miro Relaxed Jean Outfits:
My Everyday Jewelry & Sunglasses
1.) Knit Top + Ballet Flats + Miro Relaxed Jean

Top // Belt (old from Sézane) // Bag // Jeans (tts for the intended relaxed fit, I sized down for fitted) // Shoes (code: MICHELLE10 for 10% off your first order)
The first outfit was from early fall, and could easily be worn now with the addition of a jacket. I like the style juxtaposition of the relaxed jeans with the elevated, tan accessories. The rib-knit in green adds texture and color to complete a look with plenty of interest in it.
2.) Denim Jacket + Tee + Miro Cheetah Print Jeans

Jacket (old – similar, similar) // Tee // Bag (code: MICHELLE15 for 15% off your first order) // Shoes // Jeans (I sized up one and the fit is baggy)
The cheetah print jeans are a fun statement piece. Here I styled a casual look with coordinating white tee and sneakers. I added a washed black denim jacket that pairs back nicely with the color in the cheetah print, and layered on a textured cream bag for more interest and to make the look feel complete.
3.) Sweatshirt + Loafers with Socks + Miro Jeans

Sweatshirt (old from H&M – similar) // Tote (old from Sézane) // Jeans (I sized down one for fitted) // Loafers
Look three might be my favorite. The graphic sweatshirt feels casual yet preppy, pairing back nicely to the style of the loafers. The jeans add a relaxed feeling and the patent leather tote adds color and texture to the outfit.
4.) Oversized Button-Up Shirt + Loafers + Miro Barrel Leg Jeans

Shirt (similar) // Bag (code: MICHELLE15 for 15% off your first order) // Loafers (code: MICHELLE10 for 10% off your first order) // Jeans (I sized down one for fitted)
Did I speak too soon? This next look might also be my favorite, it’s one I’ve been grabbing on repeat the past few seasons. An oversized button-up shirt always feels effortless and cool with jeans. I added brown accessories which coordinate and look great with the blue tones in the jeans and top.
5.) Cardigan Sweater + Tee + Embellished Flats + Miro Jeans

Cardigan (old from Darling – similar) // Tee // Bag // Shoes (old from H&M – similar) // Jeans (I sized down one for fitted)
The last look is the perfect, everyday fall look. Nothing beats a sweater and jeans. The stripes in the cardigan and embellishments on the shoes make the outfit more interesting. The classic handbag elevates the look. This one could be worn any day of the week.
